For quick demonstrations, quick start is the fastest way to jump into a fire extinguishing scenario. Scan desired token, ignite fire, select extinguisher pull the pin, squeeze, sweep, and extinguish the fire.

Create Scenarios

FiAR allows you the ability to scan your environment, creating custom fire training scenarios including placing props, setting fire types, size, fire count, etc. Once completed users can save and name the scenario for future use.

Run Scenarios

Once you have completed creating your scenario, you can choose to run any scenario in your saved collection. Users can rename and delete scenarios as needed.

What about privacy and security?

FiAR does not collect any personal data, and does not need a valid internet connection to operate.

Does FiAR comply with industry standards?

FiAR is registered as a valid bluetooth device. Complies with FCC standards (A8TBM71S2) and is Industry Canada (IC) certified.

Does FiAR have a warranty plan?

Limited Warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, NORCAT will repair or replace, at no charge, a Product or a part of a Product that is or becomes defective under normal use and maintenance due to improper material or workmanship, using new or refurbished parts (“Warranty Service”). s Limited Warranty does not apply to: (a) any software or to any non-NORCAT branded hardware or product, even if such software, hardware, or product is packaged or sold with the Product; (b) the tablet that is packaged with the Product; (c) consumable parts or components, including but not limited to batteries, protective coatings, paint, and powdercoat; (d) cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic on ports; (e) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, liquid contact, or other external causes; (f) damage caused by normal wear and tear; (g) excessive force applied to the handle of the Product that results in the bending or breaking of the handle; (h) a lost or stolen Product; (i) damage caused by fire, flood, acts of God or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of NORCAT; or (j) damage caused by use of the Product with any software, hardware, product, or accessories not recommended or endorsed by NORCAT. NORCAT is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions provided with the Product or otherwise made available by NORCAT relating to the Product’s use. Any attempt to repair the hardware, electronics, or any other part of a Product by anyone other than NORCAT will void all warranty claims and this Limited Warranty will cease to apply to that Product.

How do I get updates to the software?

You can download and update FiAR from the Apple App Store. We may push updates to handle industry feedback responses, client model requests and any potential updates that are required to keep FiAR up-to-date and stable for use.
